Follow our application process to apply for a grant:
Please consider attending our Grant Application Information Session at the Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois, on May 1 at 6pm. This session will provide an overview of the grant application and award process and instruction that may be helpful in applying for the grant.
Begin the application process by submitting a Letter of Intent (LOI), available here.
The deadline to submit the LOI is May 24.
Organizations that meet the LOI requirements will be invited to submit a grant proposal. A link to the online application portal will be emailed by May 30.
If invited to proceed, the deadline for the grant proposal is July 12 (midnight).
Applications are reviewed:
Focus group committees, composed of volunteer members of Impact100 Oakland County, review the applications, discuss the merits of each, chose two-three semi-finalists, perform site visits and identify finalists. Nonprofits are notified of review decisions September 16.
One finalist from each of the five focus areas is selected by the grant review committees. Focus Group Committee Chairs write an executive summary of the finalists’ proposals. This summary is emailed to the entire membership of Impact100 Oakland County prior to the annual meeting.
Annual Grant Award Meeting: Fall 2019
Representatives from each of the finalist organizations make a short presentation at the annual meeting in October 2019.
Each Impact100 Oakland County member votes at the annual meeting or by absentee ballot to determine the grant recipient. The organizations receiving the most votes will receive the full grant awards.
The grant recipients are announced at the conclusion of the meeting.
