Class cost – $20.00 – 50% of the class cost will be donated to Impact100
The owner of Detroit Kombucha Brewing Co., Kelley Davis Lyne, will take you on a lively journey from A-Z in the kombucha brewing process. You will learn “tricks of the trade”, as well as safe practices in the art of home-brewing kombucha. The class will last one hour.
*Class includes complimentary kombucha flight!
*Pre-made homebrew kits will be available for $20.00 as an option after the class.
*Kit will include fermenting jar w/spigot, cheesecloth, rubber band, scoby starter, sugar and tea for the first batch.
*Eli will offer 20% off any loose tea purchases for class members on the night of the event. Not combinable with any other in-store promotions.
*Must be 21 or over to attend (we will be using the classic kombucha recipe)

Help reduce waste and inspire creativity this holiday season! Arts & Scraps uses donated creative supplies and recycled industrial material to help people of all ages and abilities think, create and learn. Volunteers will gather items no longer needed from their community so they can be reused. Items like puzzle pieces and board games (missing pieces ok!), yarn, fabric, paints and brushes, scissors, paper… we’ll take it all and have a drop-off party where your kids will receive a certificate and have their picture taken for being donation ambassadors! *Drop-off will take place at Arts & Scraps, 16135 Harper Ave in Detroit. All family members welcome! This is a fun one for the kids! Early drop-off for those not attending on the 1st will be at 1064 Bennaville Ave in Birmingham any time prior to 12/1.

awarded $270,000 in grant money to fund LOCAL non-profit projects that will benefit
our county and we want to make an even bigger impact next year! (Paddle tennis
lessons will be provided prior to the game(s).)
